- Juice of ½ fresh lemon
- 1 teaspoon mānuka honey
- 1 cup warm water (not boiling)
Method:
- Squeeze the juice from half a lemon into your cup, removing any seeds.
- Pour in warm water. It’s important the water is warm rather than hot to help preserve the natural properties of the mānuka honey.
- Add the mānuka honey and stir well until fully dissolved.
- Taste and adjust if needed, adding a little more honey or lemon depending on your preference.
- Drink immediately while warm.
Tips & Variations:
